Shipping policy

Shipping & Processing Times
Unless otherwise noted, all items available on assemblyglassworks.com are ready-to-ship with a 1-3 day order processing time. I ship within the US through USPS or UPS, and shipping times once received by the carriers vary based on the rate and speed you select at check-out.

Please remember that a variety of factors outside of the control of myself or my studio can add considerable delays to these estimates. Shipping times are also longer during the holiday season, so please plan your orders accordingly. Once your package is on its way to you, you will need to connect with the shipping provider directly using your tracking information for the most accurate estimate on your package's delivery.

International Orders (currently only applicable to Canada & Australia)
For orders outside of the United States, customers are responsible for customs charges, VAT fees, and any and all other duties that might be encountered. Assembly Glassworks is not responsible for the inability to deliver international orders due to a failure to cover these and any other charges relating to the parcel's journey across borders. Available services and speeds provided by USPS, UPS, or DHL.

Incorrect or Incomplete Address
For orders both domestic and international, Assembly Glassworks is not responsible for lost packages or packages returned to the studio due to an incorrect or incomplete address supplied at the time of purchase. Please check that all of your information is correct at the time of check-out to ensure your pieces arrive to you!

In the event that a package is returned to the Assembly Glassworks studio because it could not be successfully delivered with the information provided by the customer at the time of check-out, the customer will be notified, and plans to re-ship the item will be coordinated. The customer is responsible for additional charges incurred for items that need to be re-shipped under these circumstances.

Assembly Glassworks is not responsible for delayed, lost, stolen or damaged packages during transit.

If your item was damaged in transit, please email me detailed photos of both the item and the state of any and all packaging it arrived in within 24 hours of receipt so that I may help you file a claim with the carrier, and so that we can discuss possible repair or replacement options, if available. Replacements or repairs on items damaged in transit, and any related shipping charges related to replacements or repairs, are the financial responsibility of the customer (see the Refund Policy page for more information).

I offer Route shipping insurance on all parcels purchased through my store-- this is an optional add-on available to the customer at check-out, and covers the full value of your purchase. Customers who choose not to include insurance on their purchases accept responsibility for costs incurred by any lost, stolen, or damaged packages.

Eco-Friendly Packaging Promise
In an effort to be kinder to the environment as your pieces travel to you, Assembly Glassworks uses a variety of reused, recyclable, and compostable shipping supplies. For newly sourced supplies (ie, purchased by my studio), this includes GreenWrap paper bubble wrap alternative for small to mid-sized works, and plant-based and compostable packing peanuts. (For large works, plastic bubble wrap will be included to further ensure the safe arrival of this fragile art form).

Other paper packaging materials, as well as plastic bubble wrap and/or air pillows, shipping boxes, etc are reused from other shipments or donated by friends and other small business owners so we can all do our part!

As always, please direct any questions about these policies or any other inquiries to hello@assemblyglassworks.com.
