"Morning Light" Sandblasted Stained Glass Study

A simple panel study with a delicate sandblasted center depicting the early morning light as I caught it shining through our back porch door one spring day in 2023. I made a simple stencil from this view, then sandblasted the image with a fine medium onto a piece of transparent neolavender glass.

The outer border is built from 1/2" strips of transparent light violet glass, with a textured clear piece running between them, and four clear, square bevels in the corners. Finished in 3/8" zinc with two wire loops for hanging. Comes with chain.

Measures 8" wide by just over 10.5" tall. Signed and dated, one of a kind work. This piece is not perfectly squared, and has been priced accordingly.

Glass is a slightly fickle photography subject, so note that colors and textures may appear slightly different in person than they do in the pictures.

Handmade in Arvada, CO. Not suggested for outdoor use.

Solder contains lead. Handle with care and wash hands after touching.
