Pressed pennies, a souvenir staple if ever there was one.

I painted this little two-penny illustration a couple of years ago (another of my early kiln-fired enamel tests that has been waiting for a permanent place). It's based on two pennies I got in (you guessed it) St. Augustine, Florida on what I think I remember was a 4th grade class field trip.

This panel is made up entirely of kiln-fired glass. In addition to the painted centerpiece, there is a lovely light pink striker, a marigold striker that I fused a thin cranberry grid into, and some remnants of a black and clear striped squiggle glass I made last year.

Framed in two layers of round u and twisted h came, with some smaller soldered embellishments within, and all metals kept their natural silver. Twisted wire loops are attached for hanging. Comes with a stretch of chain.

This one measures just about 8" square. Signed and dated, one of a kind work.

Glass is a slightly fickle photography subject, so note that colors and textures may appear slightly different in person than they do in the pictures.

Handmade in Arvada, CO. Not suggested for outdoor use.

Solder contains lead. Handle with care and wash hands after touching.
